Brand, Product & Global Campaigns

Founding designer for the brand, UI, and global campaigns of the largest Jewish dating app—acquired by Spark Networks.

As the founding designer, I created JSwipe’s brand and UI from scratch—the identity, the swipe-based interaction model, onboarding, Jewish preferences, and monetization features like Super Swipes and Explore.

Following the rapid growth of the platform, I led the creative direction for JSwipe’s first major out-of-home campaign. The "It started with a swipe" campaign celebrated 16,000+ love stories and appeared on billboards, subways, and digital platforms globally.

JSwipe grew into the largest Jewish dating app with over 500,000 users and was acquired by Spark Networks (NYSE:LOV) in 2016.

Responsibilities

  • Brand identity & visual system
  • Core swipe interaction & onboarding
  • Jewish preferences & matching UX

The Product

Designing the Swipe Experience

I designed the core swipe-based interaction model, onboarding flow, and custom Jewish preferences (like Kosher/Denomination filters) that set JSwipe apart from generic dating apps.

We also introduced premium monetization features like Super Swipes and Explore to drive sustainable revenue.

The Campaign

It Started with a Swipe

To celebrate our growing community, we launched a global out-of-home and digital campaign featuring real love stories. The campaign appeared on Times Square billboards, subways, and digital channels, driving massive organic engagement.
